About
Nicole Boac

Product designer with nine years across healthtech, fintech, and ecommerce. Specializing in solving complex problems and bringing clarity to ambiguity through thoughtful, user-centered experiences.

From building zero-to-one tools for regulated industries to scaling design systems across large organizations, the through line is always the same. Find the real problem, design with intention, and ship something that holds up.

Personal

Outside of work you will find me watching women's sports, at a restaurant with a tasting menu, or with knitting needles in hand. The purple on this site is a nod to the Golden State Valkyries. I follow the WNBA, college basketball, NWSL, and clear my calendar for every Women's FIFA World Cup. My most recent tasting menu was at Saison in San Francisco.

Knitting

One year in and the finished object pile keeps growing. The Zipper Sweater by PetiteKnit is the one I am most proud of so far. Still going strong on bibs for my nephew. I listen to podcasts and audiobooks while I knit — it is the only time I sit still long enough to get through them.
